Winckworth Sherwood is a highly individual firm of solicitors and parliamentary agents based by Blackfriars on the south bank. Our working environment is neither ruthlessly ambitious nor aggressively corporate. (One trainee told us he chose Winckworth Sherwood because he didn’t want to work “in a corporate snake pit” – which was good to hear.)

A History of Modernisation
Throughout more than 200 years of history, Winckworth Sherwood has undergone several mergers and transformations. Each has brought a new focus and new addition to our clientele.
This unique history is reflected in the make-up of the firm you see today. It accounts for the diversity of our work portfolio and our more specialist practices. It also proves our ability to evolve with clients’ needs and provide the right legal services for the circumstances of the time. In fact, many of our present client relationships have their roots in relationships forged over a century ago.
As we continue to adapt and grow, we love to think that the trainees who join us this year will play a pivotal role in the shaping our practice in the future.
